It is with great pleasure that myself, Mr Ethan Donnelly III Degree, and my co-organiser, Mr Ross Penman IV Degree, invite you and your students to participate in a brand new ITF TaeKwon-Do Junior competition that we are hosting this year titled the ‘Scottish Cup 2023’.

 

This is an open event that is scheduled to run on Sunday 19th March 2023 from the Tollcross International Swimming Centre, Glasgow. 

 

One thing that we were keen to do with our first event is ensure that we create a fun and welcoming competition environment that focuses on developing grass roots level competitors – our Juniors. We feel giving them an exclusive platform to compete with the full support from senior students and Instructors will be a great opportunity for their development when it comes to experiencing what the competitive side of Martial Arts has to offer.

 

We have attached a copy of the official invitation for your reference and we strongly encourage you to have a thorough read through it as we have adapted certain aspects of the event rules and procedures – that may be different from what you and your students are used to – in order to ensure that it fits with what we are trying to achieve from running it.

We know that an event like this cannot run without the good nature of volunteers – specifically in the form of umpires. Therefore, we want to ensure that all of the umpires who get involved in helping this event run smoothly are rewarded with some keepsakes for donating their time and effort on the day. One of those keepsakes will be an official event polo shirt. 

 

Can you please forward the following link to the umpire(s) that you will be supplying on the day of the event so that we can purchase their official Scottish Cup Polo Shirt in advance to present to them on the day?
